Cumbria Branch Dettingen Social will be held on Saturday,4th July, 2009, in the Royal British Legion,
Workington, commencing
at 19:30 hours.

ROYAL
DRAGOON GUARDS ASSOCIATION MEMORIAL
The Regimental Association is to hold a dedication service for it's
Regimental Memorial at the National Arboretum, Alrewas,
Staffordshire.
The
service will commence at 1200 hours followed by a small
buffet. Should you wish to attend please contact HHQ RDG on
01904 642036.
Tickets
will be issued for the day and for admittance to the marquee.

GOLF
SOCIETY
Are you interested in playing the occasional game of golf. ALEXANDER KURLANDZKI
a.kurlandzki@btinternet.com
has formed the Dettingen Golf Society.
Please contact them if you wish to get together. If a team can
be formed we can play against other regiments.
Alex has
already had 3 successful competitions and were enjoyed by all that
attended even the non players.
The
Keith Zambelli Memorial Golf Competition will be held annually in
rotation of Northern England, Southern England
and
Northern Irelands. The Closing date for this years Zambelli
Trophy is 01 April 09, which is being held at Catterick Golf
Club.

date Friday 26th June 2009, cost £40 for the day. If anyone would

The latest version of the journal, 2008 will shortly be in stock It
will be available from HHQ. Costs: £7 including p&p.

disappointment. Back copies of the journal from 1992
onwards are also available at a cost of £2.50 plus p&p

OLD REGIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHS
Have you
any old regimental photographs, The museum has a shortage of named
photographs from years gone bye.
When
clearing out the attic or the effects of a loved one think about the
history of the photographs there and let us copy them for the
archive.
This includes
4/7DG, 5 Innis DG and RDG photographs.
